Gemini on WearOS Smartwatches
Google announced that Gemini will be coming to WearOS smartwatches later this year. This will allow users to take advantage of Gemini's conversational capabilities and talk to their watches naturally. Users can now enjoy hands-free assistance without the need for their phones.
Gemini on Android Auto
Android Auto's voice assistant is being upgraded to Gemini from Google Assistant, enabling hands-free conversational assistance in the car. Users can now find destinations through specific descriptions and even have their text messages summarized and translated.
Gemini on Google TV
Gemini will be available on Google TV, bringing conversational capabilities to the big screen in your home. In addition to typical Gemini assistance, users can also receive TV recommendations based on specific criteria.
Gemini and Android XR with Samsung
Google is collaborating with Samsung to combine Gemini with Android XR for extended reality devices such as headsets. Gemini will provide advanced assistance while leveraging the XR element to offer users a more immersive experience. This new platform will be available on future devices, including headsets and glasses.
