GPT-4.1 Mini Model
A smaller version of the GPT-4.1, known as the GPT-4.1 mini model, has been introduced to provide better performance in instruction-following, coding, and overall intelligence tasks compared to the previous GPT-4o mini model. This upgrade will be available to all paid ChatGPT users, replacing the existing GPT-4o mini model. Free users will have access to the GPT-4.1 mini model once they reach their GPT-4o usage limits.
Launch of Safety Evaluations Hub
Alongside the GPT-4.1 rollout, OpenAI has launched the Safety Evaluations Hub, a platform that contains data related to standard safety evaluations of various models. Initially focused on text-based interactions, this hub will provide valuable insights into the safety protocols of AI models.
