This potential investment by SoftBank is part of a larger $500 billion commitment towards artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States. The initiative was officially unveiled on January 21 in the presence of notable figures including President Donald Trump, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and others.
