Louis Rosenberg on LinkedIn: The “AI Manipulation Problem” is ...

There is a new arms race between Open AI, Google, Microsoft, and Apple to deploy powerful AI agents. This makes the AI Manipulation Problem urgent for policymakers and regulators to understand and address.

Looking back, the first mainstream piece I wrote about AI Manipulation was in Futurism in 2016. Back then, the manipulation risks were written off as speculative dangers for the far future.

With recent announcements from Open AI, Google, and others it seems clear that the future has arrived. It's time for regulators to finally step up.
