Introduction to Gemini Mobile App
On November 14th, Google finally released iOS version of Gemini app. On November 27th, Google announced availability of Gemini on mobile for Workspace accounts.
Challenges with Gemini App on Workspace Accounts
Having previously allowlisted both versions of Gemini app as an MDM administrator for my organization, I had high expectations that I would be able to leverage Gemini app using my Workspace accounts, only to realize that Gemini app is not available inside Work Profile which was quite disappointing. This limitation makes Gemini mobile app less useful for customers who have users using personal Android devices with Advanced MDM.
Seeking Updates
Any update for timeline that can be shared publicly (through the update to the blog article or support documentation) would be most appreciated.
