Apple is in talks with its major rival Meta to explore the integration of the Facebook parent company’s generative AI technology into its own products. Analysts predict significant growth in the adoption of generative AI features in smartphones, with Canalys forecasting that 16% of smartphones shipped this year will include such capabilities, rising to 54% by 2028.
