The innovative system is proficient in four languages – English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. It utilizes customized prompts to facilitate the summarization of clinical notes, ensuring the accurate recording of patient concerns and queries during medical encounters. 
Physicians have the flexibility to personalize Note Buddy's prompts to suit their respective areas of expertise before consultations. Throughout the session, the system effectively extracts and condenses pertinent information exchanged during the conversation, enhancing the efficiency of clinical documentation.
Developed by SingHealth’s Division of Digital Strategy, Note Buddy operates on the Synapxe Tandem platform, a state-of-the-art generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) powered by Microsoft’s Azure Open AI service.
