The Integration of Templafy and Gemini by oXya: Building Secure Innovations

In this respect, oXya developed a partnership in 2022 with Templafy, a global software company with six offices located around the world. Templafy provides tools that enable professionals to create accurate, compliant, and on-brand documents and emails with efficiency and ease. This solution has therefore been made available to our end-users in Canada in the form of add-ins to the Microsoft 365 product suite, making it easy to access and intuitive to use. Templafy is an AI-powered document generation platform that provides centralized access to approved content and templates within the company throughout document applications. This investment has been beneficial, as it facilitates the work of our consultants, particularly on engagements such as Follow-the-Sun.
Gemini is your direct access to artificial intelligence (AI) on Google. Gemini helps with writing, planning, and learning, and generative AI helps create more elaborate, diverse, and comprehensive content. oXya Canada completed a pilot project in early 2024 to access Templafy’s AI Assistant solution. The integration of generative AI within oXya offers considerable advantages, mainly thanks to the RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) approach. This technique enables AI to access a vast corpus of internal knowledge to contextualize its responses.
As part of the implementation on Google Cloud, oXya used the Cloud DLP (Data Loss Protection) tool to prevent any leakage of sensitive data potentially included in the prompts and sent to Gemini. Cloud DLP identifies and classifies data coming from users or vectorized objects to carry out RAG. Once the data has been identified and classified by this Google service, Cloud DLP offers the possibility to de-identify this data thanks to techniques such as masking or tokenization.
oXya’s expertise and skills on Google Cloud naturally guided the integration of the Gemini model into Templafy. Another example of the use of Gemini is the Flashcard’it project. While generative AI is useful for creating content and presentations, it cannot be considered as a substitute for the expertise of a skilled user.
