Get Started with AgentGPT
AgentGPT gives you the capability to create and name your own customized AI agents that can provide prompts to complete your objectives. Here’s how to get started:
- First, obtain an OpenAI API key by following the instructions in our previous video, which you can watch here.
- Access AgentGPT at this link.
- If you want to save your custom agent, you need to create an account by clicking on the Sign In button and choosing your preferred option from Google, GitHub, or Discord.
- Input your OpenAI API key. For your initial work, use gpt 3.5 turbo, which is less expensive. However, if you plan to conduct searches on the internet, you should use gpt-4, which will require the API key for gpt4 (the link to request this key is on the site).
- Click on Advanced Settings to control the number of tokens or loops that your task can perform, then save your input.
- Give an appropriate name to your agent, and enter your goal.
- Finally, click on the Deploy Agent button, and the AutoGPT will automatically identify the prompts that it needs to complete the task.
- After your task is finished, you can click on the Save button to retain the agent in memory, and Export to download the completed text.
