Ampere Launches Ampere Systems Builders Program and Expands Innovation in AI Infrastructure
Ampere® has recently announced two significant developments in its mission to provide open, efficient, and scalable infrastructure for AI and cloud workloads. These developments include the launch of the Ampere Systems Builders program and the introduction of additional 12 memory channel platforms based on AmpereOne® M processors. These advancements signify a crucial step towards enhancing AI inference infrastructure through innovation, collaboration, and openness.
Ampere Systems Builders: Driving Innovation in Modular Platforms
The newly unveiled Ampere Systems Builders program aims to bring together industry leaders to accelerate the development and deployment of modular, standards-based platforms optimized for AI and Cloud Native computing. This program focuses on openness, flexibility, and shared architectures such as the DC-MHS standard to promote interoperability, customization, and faster time to market.
Key collaborators including Broadcom, Supermicro, Giga Computing, ASRock Rack, Jabil, and Rebellions are partnering with Ampere to co-create solutions using shared engineering resources, open specifications, and coordinated platform validation. Members of the program can also offer turnkey solutions that integrate hardware, software, and services tailored to the specific requirements of AI inference.
"As the industry advances AI Compute infrastructure, maintaining efficiency, scalability, and openness is paramount," said Jeff Wittich, Chief Product Officer at Ampere. "With Ampere Systems Builders, we empower the ecosystem to deliver high-performance infrastructure that is open, interoperable, and prepared for the future of AI."
Expanding AmpereOne M 12-Channel Platforms
In addition to the Systems Builders program, Ampere has introduced new 12-channel platforms based on AmpereOne M processors, representing a significant milestone in the evolution of high-efficiency platforms for data-intensive AI workloads. These platforms offer exceptional performance-per-watt and high memory bandwidth, making them ideal for modern AI inference infrastructure.
The release of these platforms builds upon the availability of AmpereOne M since December 2024, extending its reach to a broader market segment. These platforms are designed to meet the increasing demand for AI Compute infrastructure and pave the way for an open and scalable AI future.
