Mum on school run knocked down by van outside Wiltshire school

A mum on the school run has been knocked down by a van outside a Wiltshire school. The incident took place in Prince Charles Drive, Calne, at around 8.30am this morning. Sadly, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

The woman, aged in her 30s, was dropping her children at Priestly Primary School when the accident occurred. She suffered an injury to her shoulder, fortunately not described as serious by authorities.

Appeal for Information

Wiltshire Police are now seeking information to track down the driver of the van involved in the incident. A police spokesperson stated, "The incident happened during school drop-off and we would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, including anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist our enquiries."
