Zillow introduces ChatGPT Plugin for Enhanced Search Experience
Zillow, a real estate listing platform, has launched a new ChatGPT plugin that will enable users to search for real estate properties using conversational language. The latest feature allows users to search for specific property listings, look for for-sale and rental homes, and share their interests in location, price range, bedroom count, and bathroom count. The plugin will retrieve all the relevant information from Zillow’s real estate listings database. The ChatGPT plugin is currently accessible to only a limited number of users.
The launch of this plugin is a part of Zillow’s efforts to include advanced AI-powered search in their home-shopping experience. Back in January, Zillow introduced natural language search queries on its apps and websites. The ChatGPT plugin is a continuation of this capability. Furthermore, Zillow promised to fine-tune this new feature based on the user’s interaction as the plugin is currently in its alpha phase.
David Beitel, the chief technology officer at Zillow Group, stated that, “As the first major residential real estate marketplace to bring advanced, AI-powered search to the home-shopping experience, we understand its immense potential, and we look forward to developing more tech innovations with OpenAI technology in the future.”
Despite the pandemic, Zillow has been rapidly innovating to improve the user experience. The company is confident that this new feature will help them better assist their customers in finding their ideal homes.
