The San Francisco-based company acknowledged the problem and began investigating as users from various regions like Japan and Australia flagged similar issues.

Approximately 15 minutes later, OpenAI stated that they were observing signs of recovery in their API and Sora services. They mentioned, "We are continuing to investigate this issue." The matter seemed to have been resolved just before 12 a.m. EST, with a company representative confirming, "All systems are currently operational."
