Vector Search and Its Implications
https://lnkd.in/eHtM7Ubf Love it and agree, vector search is becoming more of a plugin to proven rdbs and less of a reason to build a new database. Combining structured with unstructured data + neural search is imho much stronger than just unstructured data with search. Anyways its still pretty magic that basic vector relationships in vector representations of anything generated by an llm capture the meaning of text, video, pictures, voice, data, etc better and therefore provide better search as opposed to all we had before āŗļø
