Vector Search and Its Implications

https://lnkd.in/eHtM7Ubf Love it and agree, vector search is becoming more of a plugin to proven rdbs and less of a reason to build a new database. Combining structured with unstructured data + neural search is imho much stronger than just unstructured data with search. Anyways its still pretty magic that basic vector relationships in vector representations of anything generated by an llm capture the meaning of text, video, pictures, voice, data, etc better and therefore provide better search as opposed to all we had before ā˜ŗļø

Enhancements to VSCode Services

'Works on all my machines.' We just improved how VSCode works with our services. Now, you can easily find all parts of microservices and managed services. This lets you get to cloud-build tools faster, making work more efficient. You're not just working on one remote setup anymore; you can interact directly with your actual service setups like microservices and replicas. Testing is easier because it feels closer to real-world use. Instead of being limited to your machine, this approach allows using cloud resources for heavy builds or even multi-machine LLM trainings directly from vscode.

The Future of Codesphere

This fantastic opportunity at Codesphere will shape our next stage as a company as we move development to the cloud for everyone. We are a team of former FAANG Engineers with customers in the financial sector, retail, and defense. The latest news is that we successfully raised Series A funding, with more than $27 million raised to date from investors who also invested in Spotify, Klarna, and Open AI. This role will have a huge impact, as we plan to deploy a significant amount of the fresh capital to towards our commercial growth engine.
