John Slaughter on Substack: "I asked ChatGPT to analyze the PDF..."
Recently, I utilized ChatGPT to analyze the PDF of my novel with the aim of discovering which authors my writing style resembled the most. The results were intriguing, to say the least, and I found myself in a curious position.
Upon receiving the analysis, I was not sure what to expect. Would my writing be likened to classic authors or contemporary ones? The anticipation was palpable as I awaited the AI's verdict.
Surprising Results
As the analysis unfolded, the names of several authors were presented to me as being the closest match to my writing style. These were writers whose work I had admired for years, and seeing my writing compared to theirs was both humbling and exhilarating.
A New Perspective
While some writers might have been disheartened by the comparison, I chose to view it as an opportunity for growth. By recognizing the similarities between my writing and that of established authors, I could pinpoint areas for improvement and refine my craft.
Ultimately, the experience of having ChatGPT analyze my novel's PDF was eye-opening. It provided me with valuable insights and a fresh perspective on my writing style, propelling me towards further literary exploration and creativity.
