Toys 'R' Us recently unveiled its first commercial featuring Sora, an AI technology from OpenAI, but the response from the internet has been less than enthusiastic. The iconic toy store, which shuttered its doors in 2018, made a modest comeback in 2022 by launching more than 400 stores within Macy's locations nationwide. In an attempt to recapture its former glory, Toys 'R' Us decided to produce a cost-effective advertisement utilizing Sora Ai.
