The Updated Bing Chat: A Leapfrog Over ChatGPT in 6 Important New Ways
Microsoft has released an updated version of Bing Chat, which is the company's AI-powered chatbot service. The updated Bing Chat features several new features that are not available on ChatGPT, a similar service from OpenAI.
New and Improved Visuals
The updated Bing Chat now has an emphasis on visuals with the addition of photos, graphics, and videos. The chatbot AI will provide this visual content on its own, making the conversation more engaging for the user.
Updated Formatting
The updated Bing Chat also adds an updated formatting feature where answers to questions or prompts will be presented with charts, graphs, bulleted lists, and bolded text. This feature is similar to the one that ChatGPT already has.
Multimodal Support
Bing Chat now boasts the ability to receive visual input, which is similar to visual search but backward. The AI can analyze and interact with images just like it can with text. This new feature allows users to ask contextual questions related to an image or insert a link to an image for analysis.
Plugin Support
Bing Chat now supports plugins that add extra capabilities to the chatbot AI. Currently, Microsoft has shared three partners: OpenTable, Wolfram Alpha, and Microsoft Math Solver.
Bing Image Creator
Bing Image Creator has been integrated into the Edge Copilot for better functionality and can now be used in 100 different languages worldwide.
Export and Chat History Feature
Bing Chat now has an export feature that allows users to share content with one click. The chat history has also been added, which was the most requested feature since the launch of Bing Chat.
The updated Bing Chat has several new features that take it beyond what can be done with ChatGPT. Its emphasis on visuals, updated formatting, multimodal support, plugin support, Bing Image Creator, and export and chat history feature make it a much more capable chatbot AI service.
