How Creatio integrates ChatGPT into its Atlas low-code platform

Creatio, a workflow automation provider, announced on Thursday that it is integrating a ChatGPT connector into its Atlas low-code platform and customer relationship management (CRM) products. The integration of ChatGPT will allow enterprises to develop applications more efficiently and productively. The new connector will be embedded within the Atlas platform interface as a prompt, allowing developers to generate templates for building applications.

The new ChatGPT connector will help enterprises develop applications faster by "prepopulating the data model" when generating templates for building applications. Once the data model is provided in the low-code platform, developers can drag and drop the journey to complete the application and publish it.

Before the integration of ChatGPT, developers had to follow a wizard to do the same task. Now, with the natural language interface, developers or users can ask the low-code platform to define the purpose of the application and the type of data it will work with, such as customer data or sales data.

Once the query is received by the connector, it structures in a way that OpenAI can understand and provide a consistent JSON response format. A prompt is then sent to the OpenAI API endpoint, which receives an answer from OpenAI in JSON format. After verifying the response, the connector transforms the JSON response to an application using a pre-defined set of rules and applies the required template layout to the application by asking the developer before publishing the application.

The ChatGPT connector will be integrated into the user interface of various product offerings, including communication interfaces such as emails, chat and phones. For instance, ChatGPT could help salespeople put together an email template and copy-paste it into their emails or help customer support executives while talking or chatting with customers by providing suggestions based on the conversation.
