ChatGPT Glasses Bring AI Into Your Real Life
A Stanford student has found a new way to use OpenAI's ChatGPT language model by integrating it with Monocle AR glasses and Whisper automatic speech recognition. The result, named rizzGPT, is a personal assistant that listens to your conversation and tells you what to say next. The AI chat assistant can be used in many real-world situations, from job interviews, awkward dates to choosing the best dish at a restaurant. ChatGPT, AI agents, and Monocle AR glasses work together to deliver a new ambient computing era that provides real-time Charisma as a Service (CaaS).
RizzGPT in Action
A video embedded in the Tweet shared by Bryan Hau-Ping Chiang demonstrates rizzGPT in action during a job interview. In the video, Chiang gives an exemplary performance while wearing the discrete Monocle AR glasses with ChatGPT's AI-perfected answers displayed on the built-in display.
In another use case, Chiang bumps into a friend, and the AI recognizes his friend through photos and exchanges relevant conversations based on the smartphone messages shared with that friend. The AI also provides food menu advice at a restaurant by reading the menu silently and sharing personalized nutritional values and food preferences verbally.
Futuristic Integration of AI and AR
The combination of AI and AR is poised to deliver futuristic integration that will change how people interact with technology. However, the use of glasses that scan faces and direct wearers on what to say may raise privacy concerns. Chiang is already receiving suggestions on other fun use cases for rizzGPT, and it's exciting to see how this technology will evolve to make real-life interactions more efficient, especially in everyday situations such as during job interviews or dates.
