The investment round, which attracted support from long-term AI-focused investor SoftBank Group Corp., has enabled the tech startup to broaden its operations.
Earlier this year, OpenAI inaugurated its inaugural Asia office in Tokyo, featuring a dedicated GPT-4 model tailored for Japanese-speaking clients.
