Meta and Oakley have partnered to introduce a new pair of smart glasses. The Oakley Meta HSTN glasses feature a sporty design and IPX4 water resistance. These smart glasses outperform the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, offering double the battery life and the capability to record 3K videos.

Equipped with speakers and microphones, the Oakley Meta HSTN glasses allow users to enjoy music, manage phone calls, and access Meta AI functionalities while on the move. These smart glasses are priced starting at $399 and will be available for purchase next month.
Following the success of the Ray-Ban smart glasses, Oakley has become the latest eyewear brand to collaborate with Meta on smart glasses targeted towards athletes and individuals leading active lifestyles. The Oakley Meta HSTN glasses are set to launch this summer, offering various finishes to match different styles.
Compared to the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, the Oakley Meta HSTN glasses feature significant upgrades. They support video recording at up to 3K resolution, an improvement over the 1080p capability of the Ray-Bans. Additionally, the Oakley Meta HSTN offers double the battery life, enabling up to eight hours of usage on a single charge and up to 48 hours with the case. The glasses also support fast charging, reaching 50% battery in approximately 20 minutes.

The Oakley Meta smart glasses come with Meta AI integration at their core, allowing users to perform various tasks such as asking questions and capturing hands-free videos. With integrated microphones and speakers, users can easily make phone calls, listen to music, and utilize live translation services.

A limited-edition model of the Oakley Meta HSTN with gold accents and 24K PRIZM Polar lenses will be available initially for $499, followed by the standard models starting at $399. Prescription lenses can be added for customization.
Availability
The Oakley Meta HSTN glasses will launch in several countries, including the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Mexico, India, and the United Arab Emirates. The limited-edition gold-accented model will be open for pre-orders on July 11th, with the standard models going on sale later in the summer.
