Learn the Future of Trust: ChatGPT Webinar for Educators

Join the Free ChatGPT Webinar Organised by MIL for Asean Network

The Media and Information Literacy (MIL) for Asean Network, with the support of the US State Department and the US Embassy Kuala Lumpur is hosting a free webinar titled “ChatGPT and the Future of Trust: What Educators Should Know?” on May 11, 2023. The event will be streamed live on Facebook and Zoom.

The webinar is targeted towards preschool, primary and secondary school teachers, tertiary educators, teacher educators, parents, and school librarians from Asean member countries. There is no registration required for those who choose to attend through Facebook Live. However, only 100 participants can join the webinar through Zoom and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to Expect from the Webinar?

The speakers for the webinar are Associate Professor of Practice Dr Masato Kajimoto from the Journalism and Media Studies Centre (University of Hong Kong) and AI expert and consultant Ibrahim Kushchu. The webinar will discuss the following:

  • The use of ChatGPT in the classroom and its significance for the future of learning
  • The benefits, issues, and challenges of ChatGPT in the classroom
  • Tips for educators on how to use ChatGPT responsibly for teaching and learning
