Binance Launches ChatGPT-Powered 'Sensei' Chatbot
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the launch of its AI-powered chatbot called “Sensei” on April 24. This new tool, powered by ChatGPT, gathers information from Binance Academy, which is the platform's blockchain education hub.
The aim of the Sensei chatbot is to assist users in accessing educational content on Binance Academy by providing helpful summaries and links to relevant articles on the website. Users can activate the chatbot by clicking on the robot icon located on the bottom right-hand corner of any Binance Academy page.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao had previously suggested that the company is exploring AI technology for customer support and compliance purposes. The exchange also offers an AI art service called Bicasso, which enables users to create non-fungible tokens.
It is important to mention that Binance currently faces charges from U.S. regulators regarding certain information provided to users. U.S. authorities have alleged that Binance advised users to use virtual private networks (VPNs) to circumvent regulations through personal conversations and guide pages. Therefore, improper usage of the chatbot or AI tools could result in further criticism and regulatory scrutiny for the exchange.
