Judge Grants Request for Uniting AI-Related Copyright Cases
Judge Vince Chhabria granted the plaintiffs’ request to unite their two AI-related copyright infringement cases on Friday. This decision came after they filed a voluntary dismissal and consolidation in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

Following a January judgment deeming the cases related, the parties discussed consolidation as a way forward. Huckabee, Silverman, and other authors are standing up against Meta's alleged use of pirated content in training its AI.
