Question - Am I wasting my money subscribing to ChatGPT-Plus, does it get me anything additional that is worth the cost?
Systems philosophy and cybernetics. If someone is unable to generate ideas themselves, I doubt whether generative assistance is really going to help all that much. They still have to communicate, collaborate, instrumentalise, operationalise, deploy and sustain these putative innovations. The utility of this technology does not provide a silver bullet for complex problems, it simply identifies a target before returning it to us for further processing. You still need to be intuitive and imaginative to develop those ideas and this, precisely, is where the value proposition of an innovation engine falls over: people are expecting AI to do all the heavy lifting for them and it cannot.
