OpenAI announces new improvements for ChatGPT Advanced Voice Mode

Initially available to paid users, the feature was later extended to free users with certain limits. While feedback on Advanced Voice Mode has been positive, interruptions have been a common issue. OpenAI suggested that enabling Voice Isolation mode on iPhones could help reduce these interruptions.

New Updates for Advanced Voice Mode

Today, OpenAI has announced new updates to ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode. These updates aim to reduce interruptions and give users the ability to pause and collect their thoughts. The improved Voice Mode is now available to all ChatGPT users. For paid users, the enhanced Voice Mode adds more personality to the model, making conversations engaging, direct, and concise.

To access Advanced Voice Mode, users can tap the Voice icon on the bottom right of the ChatGPT app home screen. When activated, a blue orb will appear in the center. Users can choose from nine different output voices, each with a unique tone and character. Once the daily limit for Advanced Voice Mode is reached, users can continue using Standard Voice Mode.
