Rumored Partnerships
According to reports by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple might finalize a deal with Google as early as autumn, between late September and late December. However, the outlook for a partnership with Meta appears less optimistic. Apple reportedly found Meta's Llama chatbot inadequate, leading to the disapproval of further discussions. Initial talks with Meta in March did not progress to formal negotiations and have not been revisited for several months.
Alternative Candidate
Additionally, Gurman's newsletter highlighted Anthropic as another potential candidate for integrating generative AI into Apple's platform. Founded by ex-OpenAI personnel, Anthropic is deemed "superior" by Apple, although the partnership seems to be in earlier stages compared to the potential collaboration with Google's Gemini.

These forthcoming announcements are anticipated to coincide with the launch of the iPhone 16 series. While the final outcomes remain uncertain, confirmation is expected within a two-month timeframe.
