CIA Appoints Juliane Gallina as Deputy Director for Digital Innovation

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has recently appointed Juliane Gallina as the new Deputy Director for Digital Innovation. Gallina, who holds a Master of Science in both Space Systems and Electrical Engineering, previously held the role of Associate Deputy Director for Digital Innovation and CIA Directorate of Science and Technology officer assigned to the National Reconnaissance Office.

She has been an integral member of the intelligence and technology communities for over 30 years, serving in a wide range of roles in the military, civil service, and industry. As the Deputy Director for Digital Innovation, she will drive initiatives and partnerships to enhance the Agency’s ability to leverage digital technology and innovations to further the CIA’s mission.

Juliane Gallina brings a wealth of experience from holding multiple leadership positions at the Agency, in the Intelligence Community, and in the private sector.
