Google's Gemini AI app expanding to more phone models. #AI
Google has expanded the availability of its Google Gemini AI app on Android to the U.K. and Europe, with plans to launch on iOS soon. The app allows users to type, talk, or add images for assistance with various tasks. However, it is currently not compatible with all Android phones, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Motorola Razr (2023), and Google Pixel Tablet. Users can check the Google Play Store through Chrome to see if their phone is supported. If compatible, they will be prompted to switch from Google Assistant to Google Gemini. For those new to the app, there is a guide available to help get started. The expansion of Google Gemini to more regions and platforms marks a significant step in building a conversational, multimodal, and helpful AI assistant.
