According to EssilorLuxottica's Chief Executive, the latest iteration of smart glasses developed by Meta Platforms and EssilorLuxottica has exceeded sales of its predecessor within a few months of its release, surpassing the previous version's sales over a two-year period.

The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, which were introduced to the market last October, offer users the capability to livestream directly from the glasses to their followers on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
