Vietnam adds six new members to the global AI Alliance
At the 2025 International Conference on AI and Semiconductors (AISC), the AI Alliance announced the inclusion of six new Vietnamese members, marking a significant step in Vietnam’s growing participation in the global artificial intelligence landscape.
The newly accepted members from Vietnam include the National Innovation Center (NIC), CMC Software, SmartOSC, AI for Vietnam Foundation, Fulbright University Vietnam, and GenAI Fund.
Their participation in AI Alliance will create new opportunities for collaboration, research, and the application of open AI technologies.
Vietnam strengthens ties with the AI Alliance
The AI Alliance is a global technology coalition founded by IBM, Meta, and leading academic institutions. With over 160 members, the alliance fosters an open, transparent, and collaborative AI ecosystem, promoting shared research, open-source development, and standardized AI applications.
The alliance was established to leverage large-scale computing power, datasets, tools, and expertise to accelerate AI innovation. It empowers developers and scientists to adopt open AI technologies, reducing reliance on proprietary platforms and ensuring broader access to cutting-edge advancements.
By joining the AI Alliance, Vietnamese organizations will gain direct connections with major global tech firms and access to advanced AI research and technologies. Participation in this global collaboration network will enhance Vietnam’s position in the international technology ecosystem, enabling businesses and institutions to benefit from shared research, open-source AI frameworks, and industry-leading developments.
