WhatsApp rolls out built-in sticker maker, GIPHY sticker library, and more
In an official blog post, WhatsApp has unveiled several exciting new features related to stickers for its Android app. One of the key updates includes the integration of the GIPHY sticker library directly into the app, allowing users to easily search for and share stickers using text or emojis provided by GIPHY.
By partnering with GIPHY, WhatsApp has enabled users to access a vast collection of stickers without having to leave the app. This integration allows for a seamless sticker-sharing experience within the platform, enhancing communication among users.

Custom Sticker Maker
For users who enjoy expressing themselves with stickers, WhatsApp is introducing a built-in sticker maker feature for its Android app. This feature, already available on the iOS version of the app, enables users to create, edit, and share custom stickers with ease.
With the built-in sticker maker, users can transform their photos into stickers, customize existing stickers by adding text or drawings, and save the creations to the sticker tray for quick access during chats.
AI Stickers and Enhanced Organization
Additionally, WhatsApp is highlighting the AI Stickers feature, which leverages Meta AI to generate custom stickers for users. While this feature is currently limited to users in the US on Android and iOS, WhatsApp is testing its functionality in Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia.

The latest update also introduces improved sticker organization options, allowing users to move selected stickers to the top by holding and dragging them. While freestyle arrangement is not available, users can conveniently manage their saved stickers and discover new sticker packs within WhatsApp.
Future Updates
WhatsApp is continuously working on new features for its Android app, including the development of 10 different Meta AI voices, a visibility feature for community groups, Meta AI voice messages, and more. These features are expected to enhance the overall user experience and further expand the app's capabilities.

The recent update is being gradually rolled out to WhatsApp users on Android, with these new sticker-related features aimed at making conversations more expressive and engaging.
