This project on misinformation was a challenging yet insightful experience for me. I delved into the topic to understand the impact of misinformation and how we can combat it effectively. Using Canva software, I created visuals that helped simplify complex concepts.
Choosing the Research Question
I decided to focus on the research question: “What is misinformation and how can we lessen its impact?” This question guided the structure of my video, from the introduction to the conclusion. To save time, I incorporated the debate on AI regulation of misinformation in an infographic.
Struggles and Learnings
As a non-design student, I faced challenges in creating visually appealing presentations. Selecting colors, fonts, and themes that complemented each other was a struggle. However, this project sparked more questions about the regulation of misinformation and its impact on freedom of expression.
