Smart Spectrum Releases New Generation of Open Source AI Models
In a blog post yesterday (April 14), Smart Spectrum announced the launch of a new generation of GLM-4-32B-0414 series models. These models, with 32 billion parameters, are comparable to OpenAI's GPT series and DeepSeek's V3 / R1 series, and offer friendly local deployment features.

GLM-4 Series Models
The GLM-4-32B-0414 series includes four models:
- GLM-4-32B-Base-0414: This model uses high-quality data in the pre-training phase and achieves good results in engineering code, artifacts generation, function calls, search quizzes, and reports.
- GLM-Z1-32B-0414: An inference model with deep thinking capabilities that significantly improves the ability to count and solve complex tasks.
- GLM-Z1-Rumination-32B-0414: A deep inference model with contemplative capabilities, solving complex problems through deep thinking and search tools.
- GLM-Z1-9B-0414: An open-source 9B small-sized model that demonstrates excellent capabilities in mathematical reasoning and general-purpose tasks.

Test Results and Benefits
The GLM-4 Series excels in benchmark tests, scoring high in various scenarios and tasks. With MIT licensing, these models reduce computational costs while delivering high-performance AI solutions for research and enterprise needs.
