Gemini, Google's AI assistant, is breaking out of smartphones and taking over the entire Android universe! Ahead of Google I/O, the tech giant revealed that Gemini will soon power Android Auto, Wear OS smartwatches, TVs, XR headsets, and more—bringing hands-free, personalized AI help wherever you are. According to Google, the goal is to put Gemini "at the centre of everyday moments," delivering proactive support across all your devices.
Key Gemini Expansions:
- Android Auto: Summarise texts, message in multiple languages, or ask Gemini to find food spots mid-drive.
- Wear OS Smartwatches: Translate, check emails, or say “Remember I'm using locker 43” for voice-set reminders.
- Smart TVs: Find age-appropriate content, pull up YouTube explainers, and simplify discovery.
- XR Headsets (in collab with Samsung): Gemini will assist in immersive Android XR environments.
- Coming Soon: Integration into earbuds, smart glasses & infotainment systems in Lincoln Nautilus, Renault R5, and Honda Passport.

Also unveiled: Material 3 Expressive—a visual refresh of Material You with smoother animations and dynamic color theming, coming first to Pixel devices via Android 16 and Wear OS 6 later this year.
