Apple has recently unveiled the first developer beta version of iOS 18.2, showcasing its latest Apple Intelligence features. This new update comes with a range of exciting AI capabilities, including Image Playground, Genmoji, enhanced AI writing tools, Visual Intelligence, and integration with ChatGPT.
According to a report by 9to5Mac, Apple has expanded its Apple Intelligence services to more regions, such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. The tech giant is also planning to introduce support for non-English languages in the upcoming year. However, Apple has decided not to make Apple Intelligence available in China and the EU due to regulatory concerns.
iOS 18.1 Release
In the coming week, Apple is gearing up to launch iOS 18.1, which will include the initial set of Apple Intelligence features. These features encompass AI writing assistants, an updated Siri, notification summaries, Clean Up, and Memory Movies features in Photos. Developers will get a sneak peek at these new functionalities, which are also accessible in the betas of macOS 15.2 and iPadOS 18.2.
While Apple has not officially announced the release date for iOS 18.2, they have indicated that it will be rolled out before the year concludes.
