Andrew Cuomo Used ChatGPT for His Housing Plan
Former governor and leading Democratic mayoral candidate, Andrew Cuomo, recently unveiled his plan for addressing the housing crisis in New York City. The 29-page document, titled "Addressing New York's Housing Crisis," has garnered attention for its unique approach.
The housing plan, while comprehensive, primarily focuses on Cuomo's achievements during his tenure as governor. It also highlights the challenges associated with affordable housing in the city. However, certain critical issues such as funding for NYCHA and homelessness are deferred to a separate policy paper.
Cuomo's Stance
One notable aspect of Cuomo's plan is his opposition to rezonings in low-density neighborhoods. This stance sets him apart from some of his Democratic counterparts, as it implies a reluctance to introduce new affordable housing in many of the city's outer boroughs.
As the document progresses, particularly by page 28, it becomes apparent that the campaign's momentum starts to wane, leaving some questions unanswered.
