In this talk, copyright advisor Stephen Wolfson will dig into the newly published study from the United States Copyright Office on the copyrightability of generative AI outputs. Then he will discuss a recent case involving the legal research database, Westlaw, and whether training an AI tool on copyrighted works constitutes fair use.
