Meta unveils AI-powered upgrades for WhatsApp, including voice chat
Meta has introduced a suite of AI-powered enhancements to WhatsApp, enabling users to engage in real-time conversations with an AI chatbot, edit photos on demand, and receive more intelligent responses, reports Cape {town} Etc. Meta unveiled these new AI-powered features for Meta AI on WhatsApp at the Meta Connect event on Thursday.
Among Meta’s new features, the standout is Meta AI’s voice mode, which lets users have real-time conversations with the AI chatbot, much like ChatGPT’s voice feature. Though previously seen in WhatsApp’s beta version, this voice mode is now widely available for the first time.
