Elon Musk Makes Grok AI Free for all Users on X
Elon Musk’s Grok AI chatbot, previously available only to X Premium subscribers, is now accessible to all users on X (formerly Twitter) for free. Users were pleasantly surprised to discover that they could now experience Grok 2.0 without any subscription fees.
The free version of Grok allows users to send up to 10 messages every two hours and view a maximum of three images per day. Additionally, users have the ability to generate AI-generated images, as well as upload files and pictures for analysis.
Exciting Developments
Although an official confirmation from xAI is pending, many X users have already taken note of this significant update. Elon Musk had previously hinted at the possibility of Grok being capable of processing PDFs and Word files, enabling users to work with documents as well.
In addition to the free version, xAI is considering the development of a standalone app dedicated solely to Grok, following in the footsteps of popular AI chatbots like ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
One of Grok’s standout features is its utilization of the Flux model to generate images, known for its uncensored content creation. Despite this, Grok remains a robust alternative to other AI chatbots. Recently, xAI secured $6 billion in funding to enhance its supercomputer in Memphis, Tennessee, and further AI development.
