Expansion and Enhancements
Meta AI's reach has now extended to 22 countries, encompassing regions such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Cameroon. Furthermore, the platform now supports additional languages including French, German, Hindi, Hindi-Romanized Script, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Imagine Me Feature
The newly introduced "Imagine Me" feature, currently in beta in the US, empowers users to generate images based on their photos alongside prompts like "Imagine me as an astronaut" or "Imagine me as royalty." Leveraging Meta's advanced personalization model, this feature allows users to explore their creative side by envisioning various scenarios.
Users in the US can easily access this feature by typing "Imagine Me" in the chat window of Meta AI.
AI-Powered Photo Editing
Meta AI now provides users with seamless photo editing capabilities through new AI functionalities, allowing for effortless object addition or removal, as well as other modifications. A forthcoming "Edit with AI" button will streamline the photo editing process using AI technology.
For instance, users can describe a scene, such as "Imagine a cat snorkeling in a goldfish bowl," and then alter it to feature a corgi instead. By simply requesting to "Change the cat to a corgi," they can easily modify the image.
Future Developments
In the near future, users will have the ability to create AI-generated images within feeds, stories, comments, and messages across popular social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. The introduction of the new Llama 405B model further enhances the Meta AI experience on WhatsApp and meta.ai, enabling users to tackle complex queries, receive coding assistance, and grasp scientific concepts via expert guidance.
Meta has also committed to updating Meta AI biweekly, ensuring a continuous stream of new features for users worldwide.
