All Gemini users can now access Imagen 3 for image generation
As announced in late August, alongside Gems, image generation with Imagen 3 is now available for all Gemini users. Unveiled at I/O 2024 in May, Google touts three aspects of Imagen 3 for end users:
Key Features of Imagen 3:
1. Start prompts with draw, generate, or create, while including the style you want (like photorealistic watercolor painting, or cartoon illustration) and being detailed helps.
2. Gemini will note that it’s “Creating your image with Imagen 3.” You can download the image with SynthID watermarking in place.
3. As of today, “Imagen 3 is now available to all Gemini users around the world,” including free accounts.
Additional Information:
Generating images with people is not currently available for free users. Back in May, Google started making it available to Gemini Advanced, Business, and Enterprise users (in English) in early access.
