Google Gemini opens up 'Global Memory' feature to free users...
Google has announced that its Gemini platform now supports the "Global Memory" feature for AI free users. This means that the AI can now remember all the conversations users have ever had with it. Previously, this feature was only available to paid Gemini Advanced subscribers.
The "Global Memory" feature is designed to provide users with a more personalized response from the AI. Users no longer need to search through past conversations to pick up where they left off; instead, the AI can recall and continue any previous conversation seamlessly. Additionally, users can ask Gemini to summarize past conversations and use that analysis for future discussions.
1AI emphasizes that Google Generator users have full control over their Gemini chats. They can view, delete, and manage their conversations at any time by accessing their profile card in the Gemini app and selecting "Gemini app activity."
In a recent update, Google Gemini AI has also extended file uploading and analysis capabilities to free users. Previously, this feature was only accessible to paid Gemini Advanced subscribers, but now all users can take advantage of it.
With these updates, Google Gemini continues to enhance the user experience and accessibility of its AI technology, making advanced features available to a wider audience.
