Google Gemini 2.5 Pro Now Available To Free Users - Lowyat.NET
Google has introduced new features for Gemini, offering them to free users. This move is quite surprising given the company's past practices. Following the recent introduction of real-time prompts for Gemini Live, Google has now unveiled Gemini 2.5 Pro (experimental). According to the company, this latest version is now accessible to free users.
Enhanced Capabilities
Gemini 2.5 Pro is designed to offer improved reasoning, analysis, and context capabilities. This Pro model follows the release of the more efficient Flash model with version 2.0. Initially, the rollout was limited to Advanced users through the Google AI Studio and the Gemini app, with Vertex AI set to follow in the near future.

Access for Free Users
Despite the Pro designation, free users can now access Google Gemini 2.5 Pro. However, access is granted only to signed-in users. Users who are not signed in will be restricted to the Gemini 2.0 Flash model.
