Expansion Beyond Mobile

Following the mobile integration, Google will focus on bringing Gemini to devices such as tablets, smartwatches, headphones, and the Android Automotive operating system (AAOS). This transition hints at the eventual retirement of the Google Assistant, although specific devices and a timeline for the update were not provided.

Gemini Live Features

Pichai also announced that Gemini Live with Camera and Screen Sharing will now be available on all Android devices, expanding beyond Pixel phones and the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. This feature rollout, which requires a Gemini Advanced subscription, aims to enhance the user experience across various devices.
