Missing required property 'Deployment' - Power Platform Community
When deploying from Open AI Studio, the configuration and data sources added on Open AI Studio may not be passed to Copilot Studio as expected. Even though you may have selected a model and filled in certain values, you might encounter issues with the data source property being missing. If you are facing this issue, you are not alone. Here's how you can resolve it:
When creating a connection between Azure OpenAI and Copilot Studio, it is important to specify which model and data index to use. By default, the connection only stores Azure credentials without indicating the specific model or data index. To resolve this, you need to fill in the following fields:
- Deployment: Name of the deployment created in Azure OpenAI
- API Version: Use "2023-06-01-preview" for the API version
- Index Name: Name of the index in Azure AI Search
- Content Data, URL, etc.: Corresponding field names in Azure AI Search
Resolving Deployment Issue
When you resolve the deployment issue, you are on your way to a seamless experience with Copilot Studio. Make sure to complete all the necessary fields mentioned above to avoid any discrepancies.
