WhatsApp is about to get some AI image generation tools - Phandroid
Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, is known for its advancements in AI technology. It appears that WhatsApp is now set to benefit from Meta's AI innovations. According to a recent report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is gearing up to introduce AI image generation tools to its platform.
The "Imagine me" Feature
One of the key features being worked on is called "Imagine me". This feature will allow users to take photos of themselves, which will then be processed by Meta's AI to generate unique AI images on the spot. This capability opens up exciting possibilities for users, especially for creating personalized stickers and utilizing them with creative photos.

In the current beta version, users are required to capture several photos of themselves to provide the AI with sufficient data. Once the photos are taken, users can activate the Meta AI and enter the command "Imagine me" in the chat. It's worth noting that this feature is optional, meaning users can choose whether or not to participate based on their comfort level with sharing personal photos with Meta.
Upcoming Availability
While the Imagine me feature is not yet live, WhatsApp users can anticipate its arrival in the app soon. The exact release date has not been confirmed, but users can expect this AI tool to become available in the near future. Keep an eye out for updates on when this feature will go live.
