The world’s most notorious and extensive movie and web series streaming platform has been shut down. The platform, known as Fmovies, was recently busted with the cooperation of the Vietnam police, with support from the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE).
The platform, originally based in Vietnam and established in 2016, experienced exponential growth over the years. It initially received 374 million monthly visits, a number that surged to 6.7 billion between January 2023 and June 2024, propelling it to the 280th most popular website globally in terms of visitors.
