The Future of Learning: Google AI Tools in Schools

4 Ways Schools Are Using Google AI Tools for Teaching, Learning ...

In a recent blog post, Google shared an array of education customer stories, showcasing ways schools and districts are using AI tools like Gemini and NotebookLM to transform both learning and administrative tasks. At Chicago Public Schools, for example, staff are using Gemini's Gems feature to build AI curriculum reviewers that help evaluate curriculum development evidence guides and rubrics. They're also using NotebookLM to understand district guidance and policies, such as complex financial reporting requirements.

"NotebookLM and Gemini are helping people experiment with GenAI in exciting ways, transforming the way they work and allowing them to streamline tasks that would otherwise consume their time," commented Lorne Rodriguez, manager of enterprise generative AI for the district. "Knowing they are covered under our district licenses with Google allows CPS to encourage their use to revolutionize the way we educate our students."
