From the perspective of undergraduate educators in the Social Sciences, the challenges and opportunities associated with teaching writing in the era of ChatGPT, a powerful large language model (LLM), are being reevaluated. ChatGPT, as a sophisticated writing tool, is influencing the way students complete their assignments and communicate. This shift to AI-driven LLMs is reshaping the landscape of teaching and learning in undergraduate education.

Our chapter delves into the evolution of our approach to undergraduate writing, the "way-finding" process within our programs, and the essential pedagogical considerations that enable us to deliver the curriculum in a sensitive and meaningful manner while nurturing students' academic integrity.
